Who am I?
Isho Usagi (Eddie Collazo)
DOB: 01/22/1997
Sex: Male
Currently based in Asia
Just an average guy with above-average talent.
My work, while simple in design, can reach heights beyond my own expectations.
I'm multifaceted in terms of my skill-set, being able to create things in multiple mediums with ease. This also allows me to work dynamically across a handful of tools and software.
This site was built for desktop layouts, so the mobile version might look a bit off. Feel free to play the track below to make the showcase experience a bit more interesting.

UI/UX Design
iiSU Launcher
A passion project founded by me, iiSU was brought to life after starting out as an ambitious concept, now reaching its beta stages in development. This is a Home Launcher for Android-based devices; specifically handhelds catered towards gaming. I designed the majority of iiSU's user interface, putting a lot of thought behind every aspect of the software's layout and its many functions.
Once I was able to air the full presentation for the project, I made a very difficult decision: opting to step down from the project and remove myself from development, in order to protect my privacy after the project went viral before my very eyes. iiSU now belongs to the rest of my dev team, now being ran by its co-founder, Nathan Lohnes. While I no longer contribute to iiSU's development, the launcher contains a lot of my DNA in terms of its overall design philosophy.

Daijishō Launcher
Daijishō, created by magneticchen, is an Android front-end made for emulation enthusiast - catered to those who want a neat way to organize their gaming library and easily launch their retro titles.
My role began when it came to incorporating new features, such as RetroAchievements into the launcher's core UI. A lot of conceptual designs began from there, eventually making their way into the software, with more concepts being made soon after for potential editions.
A lot of these concepts and designs were my very first time working with UI/UX, being the kick-starter for my overall experience and the knowledge I would gain moving forward. It's here that my reputation for UI/UX and motion graphic design began to gain traction, paving the way for future projects like iiSU.

Motion Graphics

UsagiShade
UsagiShade
UsagiShade is a personal alias of mine, predominantly being a YouTube personality that has a heavy focus on emulation content with striking visuals. Initially starting out as a hobby, the channel has since become a fully monetized YouTube Partner in the wake of iiSU and its immediate popularity.
The channel, initially a secondary entity I created for fun, eventually became a primary identity of mine, no longer being separate from my real-life counterpart. Sometimes I can't decide if that's a good or bad thing, considering how much I value my privacy rather than being a public figure.
That being said, it's because of UsagiShade that I've become widely acknowledged for my high skill-set in motion graphics and visual presentation. While it does revolve around a specific niche, that doesn't deter from the fact that those presentations have left a lasting impact on those who were inspired by my work.

Console Launcher
As the name implies, Console Launcher, created by Kyle Eichlin, is an Android launcher made to feel like a true console experience in an otherwise mobile-like navigation system.
I've worked with Console Launcher in many occasions, creating UI assets and motion media such as animated wallpapers and startup splash screens. Our partnership continues to this day.

SoundStripe
An extensive library of royalty-free music aimed to aid film creators in their many projects. Their eclectic selection allows for a multitude of indie artists to shine, while providing a variation of genres for any mood or setting.
My role involved creating social media content, as well as visual showcases of new tracks that released as time went on. The content would vary every so often, allowing for new ways to showcase their selections each time.
Sparkfish
Not your typical freelancing experience, but I did work very closely with a Data Strategy company. Their concepts for engaging LinkedIn content made for very creative projects, often utilizing my hand-drawn animation for the majority of their presentations. It was definitely out of my comfort zone, but a fun experience!

Greenhorn Creative
Making professional videos can be hard for some people, which is why Greenhorn Creative aims to streamline the process for those who aren't so savvy. My job was to provide a visual example in order to set the stage for what people can expect.
While my time with them wasn't very long, the visual style they requested was very fun to learn in such short notice. I practically made it my own!
Retro Game Bar
My very first service job also doubled as a freelance partnership between me and the owner of this nostalgia-fueled bar. All social media content, advertising, and physical menus were designed and brought to life by yours truly. It was a fun time no matter what responsibility I had.

2D Animation
iShade
iShade is the original alias I created for my animation work, including my series of illustrations. This identity has very little to do with my personal life, but ties into UsagiShade from time to time. It really depends on the kind of content I want to create -- usually being reserved for hand-drawn animation as opposed to digital motion graphics.
In the near future, the alias may be completely overhauled by Isho, however that doesn't devalue the impact this alias left behind.
The illustrations had more of a fantastical slice-of-life direction poured into each one of them. I've always romanticized life's simple pleasures and neutrally silent beauty -- something we tend to gloss over quite often. Simple concepts like going out for boba or admiring your new shiny car without so much as an expression to convey that sense of comfort. It all says so much without having to owe much elaboration.

Commission Work
These aren't as common as my personal projects, but they're still a joy to work on when I'm available for it. This piece here is unfinished, but is one that I'm very proud of. I may potentially finish it when the time is right! However, my motion work takes over most of my productive time these days.
